karupu kavuni is also known as forbidden rice. kavuni has range of health benefits due to its high antioxidant content, particularly anthocyanins, which contribute to improved heart health, anti-inflammatory effects, and potential protection against chronic diseases.
Cooking procedure:
Soak the rice for 12 hours and remove the soaked water.
1 cup of rice add 3 cup of water and cook it in open pot vessel.
